This workshop includes 5 sessions which you can complete on your own time. With each session there is an assignment challenge for you to complete (listed below). Post each assignment challenge to Budfunding’s Facebook Group. Here is a snap shot of what you will learn:

Session 1 Passive Solar & Passive Solar Greenhouses (Total Time: 24:05)

In this session I chat with sustainability expert Jeff Rempel founder of PhilECO Environmental Consulting who has designed and built multiple greenhouse with passive solar principles on his property.

Session 2 All About Bees (Total Time 34:20)

In this session we learn from Ron Miksha who is a beekeeper, researcher and author who has over 50 years of experience with bees.

Session 3 It Starts in the Soil (Total Time 15:49)

In this session we learn about the black gold under our feet with Mike Dorion. Mike has a background in permaculture and greenhouse design, SPIN farming, and compost facility operations.

Session 4 Traditional Knowledge (Total Time 24:14)

In this session, Joanne Bean, of Métis and Cree descent, shares on her traditional knowledge and teachings.

Session 5 Solar Powered (Total Time 35:23)

In this final session of the Sustainable Human Workshop, we learn from Gursh Bal, about all things solar. We also learn about the neat projects he’s been part of and some of the interesting innovations heading our way.
